FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what businesses ask us most. If your question is not here, ask us directly.

What is cyber resilience, and how is it different from cybersecurity?

Cybersecurity tries to prevent incidents. Cyber resilience assumes some will succeed anyway and prepares your business to keep operating through them and recover quickly. In practice that means prevention plus tested backups, documented recovery procedures, monitoring and a response plan.

How quickly can you restore our systems after a ransomware attack?

It depends on the recovery objectives we agree in advance. For clients on a managed recovery plan with replicated systems, critical services typically return within minutes to a few hours. Without prepared and tested backups, recovery can take weeks, which is why we test restores regularly rather than assuming they work.

Does NIS2 apply to our company?

NIS2 covers medium and large organisations in sectors such as energy, transport, health, water, digital infrastructure, manufacturing, food and waste management, and it can reach smaller suppliers through their customers contracts. We can review your situation and tell you plainly whether you are in scope and what the gaps are.

Do you work with small businesses, and what does it cost?

Yes. Most of our clients have between 5 and 200 users. Pricing depends on the number of users, servers and services covered, and is quoted as a predictable monthly fee rather than hourly billing. We will give you a written quote after a short assessment.

Where is our data stored?

In European data centres, under EU jurisdiction and GDPR. For clients with specific requirements we can keep data within Greece or a named EU country, and we document the location and retention rules in your service agreement.

Can you work alongside our existing IT team or provider?

Yes. We work as a full IT department for some clients, and as a specialist layer for others, typically covering security operations, backup and disaster recovery while the in-house team handles applications and users. We agree responsibilities in writing so nothing falls between us.
